Timing is not an essential part of the event or activity presented by the content, except for non-interactive synchronized media and real-time events.

Testing & Remediation

How to test: Open you website/page and confirm that there isn't any content that requires timed interaction (ie content that needs to be read or interacted with in a specified timeframe). How to remediate: If you have any site functionality that requires timed interaction, you must provide a way for the user to complete that activity without a time limit. This can be completed in a number of ways depending on the the of content you have that is tied to a time limit. For example - let's say you have a test on your site. Instead of including the time it takes to complete the test in the scoring algorithm, you only base the scores on the answers (ie. leave the timing out of it).
