How do we handle graphs with multiple layers of data?

One way to approach this scenario would be to send the user to a new page with a more detailed description of each layer. This method is preferred over alternative text because multiple layers of data are a lot of content to consume at once — especially since screen readers read content as a single string. Sending users to a new page allows for better data digestion. This data can be displayed via tables, longer paragraphs, or bullet points, depending on the data type.
