What are the requirements of the ADA Title II for education?

ADA Title II requires public educational institutions to provide equal access to their programs, services, and activities for individuals with disabilities, including a new emphasis on digital accessibility. Large school districts (serving populations of 50,000 and higher) must achieve WCAG compliance by April 24, 2026. Smaller school districts (serving populations under 50,000) must achieve WCAG compliance by April 26, 2027.
