Account Executive

Accessible Web is a web accessibility company headquartered in Burlington, VT. The website accessibility industry is expanding rapidly; many designers, developers, content managers, marketing people, and product owners are discovering and developing this skill set. We are looking for someone to join us that is willing to learn a new skill set (training will be provided) and be dedicated to improving the lives of others by helping our clients build a more accessible and equitable Internet.

Summary of the Position

Accessible Web has an immediate opening for an Account Executive. Vermonters are preferred with a flexible in-office and work-from-home schedule, but we’re also open to fully-remote employees.  We’ve developed a strong pipeline of qualified leads that need to be converted into paying customers.  Our current inbound sales process typically involves contacting and qualifying the lead, providing a demo of our platform, discussing the client’s accessibility needs, reviewing the client’s website or web application, and providing a proposal and project plan.  The ideal candidate should be competitive, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have a general understanding of websites and web apps, and have strong attention to detail. We’re working in a unique niche, so there will be a significant period of working alongside our CEO to learn our unique value proposition, and how to address objections.  Eventually, we’re expecting the Account Executive to be capable of closing most leads independently and identifying new lead channels and growth opportunities.  

Responsibilities for Account Executive

  • Respond to, and qualify inbound sales leads
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads
  • Schedule Google Meets & Zoom meetings and presentations with prospects
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products
  • Track all sales activities in the company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Meet and/or exceed quotas
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort

Qualifications for Account Executive

  • 2-4 years of sales experience
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Google Apps
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems

  • $50,000 Base Salary, $100,000 OTE
